Ryen Russillo’s Arrest Will Be The Best Thing That Ever Happened To Him…

We’ve all been there at one time or another.

You wake up confused, likely earlier than normal, wondering where the hell you are. Eventually, you realize you’re OK, but remain intoxicated from the night before. As you play back the night you wrapped up just a few hours earlier, embarrassment comes over you when you think about the sloppy make-out session you had, or the fact that you probably shouldn’t have driven your car home.

It’s just a part of what alcohol does, especially when it’s consumed at a raging level.

Now think about getting caught, either by your girlfriend for cheating or by the police for driving. Suddenly, that embarrassment is magnified a hundred times. You swear you’ll clean your life up, stop drinking, maybe even get some help. Some will follow through, some won’t.

Now…imagine you are a celebrity who is paid to weigh-in on hot topics every day. Your slip up has made national headlines, complete with an unflattering mugshot. The tweets are rolling into your account, people you’ve never met are calling for your job, bashing your manhood, and reminding you of how bad you’ve fucked up.

That’s where Ryen Russillo currently finds himself, fresh off a drunken stupor in Wyoming where he was arrested for trespassing with his pants around his ankles.

Imagine the shame he feels right now. Imagine how many people he feels he has let down. Imagine, just for a moment, you are in his shoes — true…fucking…regret.

For years, Russillo has taken shit for his bachelor lifestyle. No family, no kids, no wife; just sort of a bachelor’s bachelor who refuses to tie himself down. It’s widely assumed he is a frat bro, mainly because of his Boston ties and rumored escapades. But now, with this incident, it’s sort of confirmed.

Except when you boil it all down, it’s possible that this wasn’t a fratty endeavor at all. Ryen Russillo was all alone in the middle of Wyoming — at least when he was arrested — drinking…a lot. That’s not a party, that’s just sort of sad — and I don’t mean sad in a waste-of-talent sort of way.

Luckily, this is going to be an eye opener for Ryen. He’s reading the tweets, he’s reading the headlines, and he’s seen the mugshot. If he loves his career and health as much as I think, this will be the best thing that ever happened to him.

From one retired party animal to a future retiree, life on the other side is much better.
