Shots Fired: Dallas Stars Official Twitter Burns Vegas Golden Knights

On Saturday night, hockey fans turned their eyes to Tampa Bay and the NHL’s Skills Competition. While I wasn’t one of them myself, I did catch some heat coming from a few official NHL Twitter handles.

It started with the Dallas Stars making some joke about god knows what, and ended with a haymaker directed at the league’s newest team. Here’s the exchange between Dallas Stars Twitter and some guy named Jake with a weirdo cowboy emoji:

The potential inter-league Twitter war is something that’s common in the last few years. In fact, the NBA even issued a policy in an attempt to alleviate them. With that said, a certain NHL team started tweeting when the NBA made their change.
