17 Former MLB All-Stars You May Have Forgot Were Orioles
When you skim the current Baltimore Orioles roster, guys with MLB All-Star Game credentials are few and far between. John Means made the team last year, though you could argue it should have been Trey Mancini instead, and Chris Davis repped the club back in 2013 at the MLB All-Star Game. No other player who will be on the squad this year has made the ASG as an Oriole.
Jose Iglesias, the team’s new shortstop, does have an ASG appearance under his belt (as a Tiger), which put me down a rabbit hole to find other former MLB All-Stars who were Orioles before they received the honor (ie: Jose Bautista & Justin Turner) or after (ie: Sammy Sosa & Jim Thome). A few were even MLB All-Stars before and after their stints in the Charm City (ie: Reggie Jackson & David Wells) Here are 17 all-stars who were Orioles but not all-stars as Orioles.
