Overall:
Since 2000, the Wahoos have only picked up one win in the Commonwealth Cup game. Having said that, they’re favored on the road this year — which is rare enough as it is — and in a great spot to come out on top. It would be Bronco Mendenhall’s first win against Virginia Tech and a landmark for his UVA career. It should be noted, however, that Virginia’s most important player, quarterback Bryce Perkins, is not 100 percent after hurting himself last week against Georgia Tech.
