2019 NFL International Series to Feature 5 Games
Ten different NFL franchises will play games outside the United States as part of the 2019 NFL International Series.
Although the 2018 NFL season still has one game left to play, it’s never too soon to start looking ahead to next year (especially if your team was bounced a long time ago). That said, the 2019 NFL International Series is all set; five different games will be played next year outside of the United States — four in London and one in Mexico City.
2019 NFL International Series
- Mexico City: Kansas City vs. LA Chargers (Home)
- London: Chicago vs. Oakland (Home)
- London: Houston vs. Jacksonville (Home)
- London: Carolina vs. Tampa Bay (Home)
- London: Cincinnati vs. LA Rams (Home)
The Mexico City game in 2019 will be played at Azteca Stadium. This year, the legendary Rams-Chiefs MNF game was supposed to be at Azteca but it was moved at the last minute due to poor field conditions.
While most London games have been held at Wembley Stadium, two games in the 2019 NFL International Series will be held at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Last year, one of London’s NFL games was to be played at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium but construction delays forced it back to Wembley.
Per NFL.com, the London venues, dates, and kickoff times will be announced in the spring.
The first NFL International Series game was played in 2007 between the Giants and Dolphins at the new Wembley Stadium.
