AAC Football Week 6 Power Rankings, Schedule & Odds
AAC Power Rankings (Week 6)
Key: Power Ranking: Team (Current Record) (National Ranking) (+/- Last Week)
#12: UConn (1-3) (124) (-)
Battle of the two worst teams this coming weekend — UConn vs. USF.
#11: South Florida (1-3) (95) (-1)
Got smoked at home by SMU. Averaging 10.3 points per game against FBS schools.
#10: Tulsa (2-2) (79) (-1)
One of the most penalized teams in college football. Coming off a bye week to play a stacked SMU squad.
#9: East Carolina (3-2) (114) (+2)
Picked up a huge road win against an ODU team that gave Virginia all they could handle.
#8: Navy (2-1) (63) (-2)
Fell apart in the second half last week. Rivalry game vs. Air Force this week.
#7: Temple (3-1) (65) (-)
Their defense held an ACC offense to two points last week. Kudos, Owls.
#6: Houston (2-3) (41) (+2)
After a much-needed W, they’ll have an extra week to prepare for Cincy.
#5: Tulane (3-1) (35) (-1)
Really nice to see Tulane’s football program legitimately competitive again. Big test vs. Army on the road this week. Everyone in the AAC should be rooting for the Green Wave.
#4: Cincinnati (3-1) (23) (+1)
Beating Marshall by 38 at their place is an impressive feat.
#3: Memphis (4-0) (32) (-)
Big win in primetime last week. Cupcake road game on the horizon.
#2: SMU (5-0) (30) (-)
Probably the most fun team to watch in AAC football. Finally in the AP Top 25 (#24).
#1: UCF (4-1) (14) (-)
Embarrassed UConn last week. It’s a shame there’s no UCF-SMU game this year. Ranked #18 nationally.
