Adam Schefter on Dez Bryant: “It Will Be Tough For Him to Find Work”

Things have been crummy for Dez Bryant lately, mainly from folks kicking him while he’s down and out. First, the Dallas Cowboys’ assistant director of player personnel, Will McClay, told a Dallas radio station that his release was “production-based”. Then, in response to that news, ESPN’s Adam Schefter shed more negative light on the situation.

Appearing on NFL Live today (May 2nd), Shefter laid out some pretty brutal predictions for Bryant’s future. It seems that he thinks Dez should not have passed up the Baltimore Ravens multi-year offer (which was reportedly worth $7 million per season). Furthermore, Schefter said it will be “tough for him to find work” moving forward. Although, he believes something will come up, just not for a ton of money or multiple seasons.

It should be noted that the three teams from the conference Dez was hoping to play in — the NFC East — have not shown any interest in his abilities. If Dez wants people to forget about his lack of production and pony up the bucks, he should send them to talk with avid supporter Tony Romo.
