AFC Championship Weather Forecast Improving
A few days ago, the weather forecast for the AFC Championship game called for below-zero temperatures and whatever an “arctic blast” is. Now, according to an ESPN report by Adam Teicher, the forecast is steadily improving.
The AccuWeather forecast for Kansas City calls for a high temperature of 29 degrees and an overnight low of 23 degrees on Sunday for the game between the Kansas City Chiefs and New England Patriots. Kickoff will be at 6:40 p.m. ET.
Earlier in the week, forecasts for game time ranged from the single digits to below zero.
The AFC Championship will be the late game this weekend, following Rams-Saints at 3:05 P.M ET. Fox will be broadcasting the NFC title game while CBS will air the AFC title game.
Currently, both home teams are three-point favorites over their opponents.
