Amazon Prime Orders Second Season of ‘Lore’ TV Series

As you all know, podcasts are as popular as ever right now — more specifically, true-crime podcasts. Ever since Serial hit our headphones a few years ago, many have tried, some have succeeded, and some have really succeeded.

One of the podcasts to really succeed was Lore, a super-natural show written and produced by Aaron Mahnke.

The show was picked up by Amazon Prime and turned into a television series, a landmark event for the podcast world.

Now, after some legit success in the first season — four out of five stars on nearly 2,500 Amazon reviews — the brass at Amazon Studios has greenlit a second season of Lore.

Per Amazon’s official press release, Sean Crouch, known for his work on The Exorcist, will take over as showrunner for Season Two.

Although no official release date was given for Season Two, Deadline reported that it is expected to drop six episodes in the Fall of 2018.

In addition, Mahnke published a book about Lore in 2017 and is expected to release two more this year.
