An Early Look At Must-See TV Shows and Series This Coming July
Although June is almost over, there’s still some high-level content on the table in the coming days. Among others, I’m very, very excited for the second season of the surprise Netflix hit Glow. With that said, we also need to start prepping for the summer. Unfortunately, August is still a bit murky but July has some legit bangers on deck. Here are the highlights and premieres that we know of so far, with more to come as they get announced.

Tons of variety to choose from here, both from a network and genre standpoint. One that I had no idea about (and was pleasantly surprised by) is Follow This from Netflix. It seems like a dream show for content creators — especially in the news sector — as it follows the inner-workings of BuzzFeed.
The Legacy of a Whitetail Deer Hunter has received crummy reviews so far on Rotten Tomatoes but I’m excited for it anyway. It’s got Josh Brolin and Danny McBride leading the way, plus it rings in at a taut 83-minute run-time. As for Last Chance U, the third season will be the first one to venture outside Buddy Stephens’ world of EMCC. Instead, the show features a run-of-the-mill JUCO team with less cache and D-1 potential. Still, I’m sure it’s going to be outstanding.
Sharp Objects, of course, may be the best of the month. It literally has the perfect recipe for prestige television: an A-list star, a compelling mystery, and HBO pulling the strings.
Like I noted above, as more titles are announced, our must-see TV list for July will be updated. Hope you can check a few of them! When you do, let us know what you like, love, or absolutely hate.
UPDATE: Showtime announced a new show from Sacha Baron Cohen titled Who is America that will premiere on July 15th.
