Audi Field in D.C. is Getting Professional Football
The newly-restored XFL is coming to Audi Field in Washington, D.C.
Audi Field in Washington, D.C. is going to house professional football now, joining seven other venues in the newly-restored XFL. The other cities joining D.C. are New York City, Los Angeles, Houston, St. Louis, Seattle, Dallas, and Tampa Bay. A list of venues for the XFL can be found below:

-MetLife Stadium — NYC
-Audi Field — D.C.
-StubHub Center — LA
-TDECU Stadium — Houston
-The Dome at America’s Center — St. Louis
-Century Link Field –Seattle
-Globe Life Park — Dallas
-Raymond James Stadium — Tampa Bay
The restored league, which has Andrew Luck’s father, Oliver, as their commissioner, is planned to start playing games in 2020. The last time the Vince McMahon-led league functioned was in 2001 but they only lasted one season before folding.

Mike Florio of NBC Sports reported earlier this year that exceptional players will be able to earn $200,000-plus for the 10-game season. Base salaries, per Darren Rovell of ESPN, will be $75,000 on average.
Audi Field, located in walking distance to Nationals Park, opened this summer and is the home of D.C. United.
