Billy Bob Thornton Back For Season Two of Underrated Amazon Prime TV Show “Goliath”
Amazon Prime’s Goliath is one of the most underrated TV shows of this decade. In fact, besides Sneaky Pete, there isn’t a show on the service that I enjoyed more than Goliath‘s first season. When you talk about binge-watching television, this show is the epitome of the term. Billy Bob Thornton’s performance as Billy McBride will keep you up way past your bedtime and itching to call out of work the next day.
On May 2nd, Amazon Prime dropped a bombshell for fans of the show: it’s coming back in six weeks. Billy McBride and company will be back for Season Two on June 15th, 2018.

Thornton, who won a Golden Globe for his performance, will be joined this time around by Mark Duplass (half of the famed Duplass brothers duo) and Morris Chestnut, per Amazon’s official press release.
Serial scene-stealer Nina Arianda will also reprise her role as Patty Solis-Papagian.
Per the press release:
“This chapter tells a powerfully suspenseful, multilayered story that explores the gritty side of a broken political and legal system.” -Jennifer Salke, Head of Amazon Studios.
This time around, Billy and Patty will be defending a 16-year-old suspect accused of a double-murder.
All eight episodes of Goliath’s second season will be available for streaming on June 15th.
