Colin Cowherd Announces New Podcast Network on The Herd Now

If the world was burning down and could only be saved by a man with a microphone talking sports, there is one clear choice for the host you’d want: Colin Cowherd.

Since joining Fox Sports, Cowherd has boosted his profile beyond just radio, though. So far he’s branched off from his daytime talk show (The Herd with Colin Cowherd) to host an NFL morning show on Fox, as well as a venture into curating his content into one spot on TheHerdNow.com. On Wednesday, he boosted his sports media profile another notch by launching The Herd Podcast Network.

The Herd Podcast Network adds another feature to The Herd Now site — one that already offers an awesome line of Cowherd-centric merch — and is being presented as a “podcast network curated by Colin Cowherd”. The first show on the network right now is 3 AND OUT with John Middlekauff, a football show hosted by former NFL scout John Middlekauff.

Per the official release by Michael Hulse on The Herd Now, Doug Gottlieb will have a new basketball podcast coming in early March.

UPDATE: Gottlieb’s podcast, All Ball with Doug Gottlieb, is currently available on The Herd Podcast Network.

Colin spoke more about the new venture in the official announcement.

“I’ve said it before – I’ve chosen to work with the best people in the industry and I couldn’t be more excited about this new venture with Premiere Networks and Red Seat Ventures,” said Colin.  “This is a unique opportunity for The Herd audience to dive deeper into the sports they crave.  If you like what we do on our show, you will like what John, Doug and the other podcast hosts bring to the table. I’m incredibly lucky to launch this platform for the fans whenever and wherever they happen to be listening.”

Although it’s unclear how many more shows will be added, Cowherd’s show is also available on the new network.
