Colin Cowherd Played Nice With ESPN, At Least For 20 Seconds
On Monday’s edition of The Herd with Colin Cowherd on Fox Sports 1, the former ESPN star put aside his beef with his “former employer” and gave a shout-out to a current ESPN employee, Jalen Rose of Jalen & Jacoby.
Speaking with Chris Broussard about the Cleveland Cavaliers, Cowherd took the time to make a generous comparison between Rodney Hood, one of the many new Cavaliers’ players, and Jalen Rose, a 13-year NBA veteran.

Both lefties, the comparison between Rose and Hood is definitely accurate. They have a similar build, and like Colin mentions, they’re both oversized two-guards with similar mannerisms.
If you’ve listened to Jalen & Jacoby since Cowherd left ESPN, you know that Rose still rides for Colin as well. On multiple occasions, he’s referred to Cowherd as “my guy Colin”, even though Rose recently made a shaky decision on what he refers to himself as.
Despite the ill-will between Cowherd and the rest of the ESPN universe, it’s good to know that he still rides for one of the few great shows that remain at the World Wide Leader. After all, with Ryen Russillo leaving ESPN at the end of the summer, there are only a few cool podcasts on ESPN and even fewer actual shows.
