Colin Cowherd Throws Hilarious Jab at ESPN’s Golic and Wingo
In another edition of Sports Media Wars, my man Colin Cowherd (Fox Sports 1) took a hilarious jab at ESPN’s newest (well, kinda) morning show, Golic & Wingo.

The jab came on Cowherd’s show, The Herd with Colin Cowherd, after riffing on Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers. Rodgers had made an appearance on Golic & Wingo, which Cowherd used in his segment. However, when it was time to give proper attribution, he referred to ESPN’s pair as “Sausage Fingers & Mudflap in the Morning”.
Classic.
Later on, he was at their neck again, calling them “Chapstick & Pancake Flipper”.
Knowing the PG nature of Mike Golic & Trey Wingo, they will likely go unresponsive. So maybe “War” is the wrong term here. After all, this is the same show (when it was still Mike & Mike in the Morning) that Bill Simmons called “Mickey and Mickey in the Morning” — a reference to their parent company, Disney.
Colin Cowherd is a national treasure.

UPDATE:
Later in the show, Cowherd threw yet another barb at Golic & Wingo, saying he didn’t need Aaron Rodgers on his show to get ratings. Continuing that he grew “49 percent” from last year without him.

If by “classic” you mean hack radio, yeah, Colin is the master at providing that.
