Cowherd’s Blazing 5 Has First Losing Week of 2019
Coming into Week 6, Colin Cowherd hadn’t had a losing week in his Blazing 5 picks, resulting in a ridiculous 18-6-1 overall record. As it goes in handicapping, though, hot streaks always come to a screeching halt.
Cowherd went 1-4 in Week 6, only covering on his Jets (+7) pick against Dallas. Despite the crummy Sunday, I’d make the case that Cowherd was on the right side of a few of his losing picks. Cleveland (+2), for instance, had a 20-6 lead against Seattle before completely falling apart, and the Falcons (-2) missed an extra point late in the game that would have tied the game and likely sent it to overtime, giving them a chance to kick a field goal and cover.
Seattle at Cleveland (+2)
New Orleans at Jacksonville (-2)
Atlanta (-2) at Arizona
Tennessee (+2) at Denver
Dallas at NYJ (+7)
