Dear Tony Romo Stans, Bet Him to Win Byron Nelson

Tony Romo, arguably the best quarterback in Dallas Cowboys history, will play his third career PGA Tour event this weekend at the Byron Nelson Classic in Dallas, TX. The course, Trinity Forest Golf Club, is familiar to Romo, where he’s a member, so there’s a good chance he performs well and potentially makes his first cut with the big boys.

And if you think he can make the cut and outlast favorite Brooks Koepka, hometown hero Jordan Spieth and the rest of the field, you may be inclined to make a bet…because you can seriously cash in if Romo wins.

Romo is currently +100000 on Bovada. It’s a longshot but consider this, three actual professional golfers, not former quarterbacks, have the same exact odds. That tells you right there that Tony’s golf game is legit.

So if you lay $10 on Romo to win and he does the impossible and actually wins, you’ll take home 10 grand. I know he won’t win but as a Romo stan, I’m pretty much required to drop a few bucks. Run that baby…
