ESPN Will Nationally Televise Baltimore Orioles Opening Day Game
Tomorrow is Opening Day; everyone, no matter projections or public opinion, will be in first place. And, although they’re the favorite for the most losses in the MLB this season, the Baltimore Orioles will be tied with the league’s elite tomorrow when the season kicks off.
That’s not all — Baltimore will actually be a main figure in the MLB Opening Day ceremonies.
ESPN will be broadcasting games all day tomorrow, highlighted by Orioles-Yankees, the first national TV game of the day. First pitch for Baltimore-New York is set for 1:05 P.M ET.
From there, ESPN will have two more games on their main channel, as well as a game on ESPN+, their monthly streaming service.
The Baltimore-New York game will feature a pair of right-handed starters; Baltimore will have Andrew Cashner on the hill while New York will send Masahiro Tanaka against him.
Last season, the Yankees beat the Orioles 12 times out of 19 games.
