Former Bucks Star Brandon Jenning is Tearing It Up For Their G-League Affiliate
In case you were wondering, Brandon Jennings — a former Milwaukee Bucks Lottery Pick — is now with the team’s G-League affiliate, the Wisconsin Herd, and tearing it the f**k up!
Jennings, who just finished a stint in China after splitting last year with the Knicks and Wizards, signed with the Herd in hopes of an NBA comeback. Like most former NBA stars, he tore up the Chinese Basketball League with 27.9 points, 6.8 assists, and 2.7 steals per game.
The Herd welcomed him with open arms on February 13th.
Through three games with the Herd, a bulked-up Jennings has some seriously gaudy numbers. He’s putting up 29.7 points per game, shooting 39.3 percent from deep, and dishing out seven assists per game. Typical of Jennings’ resume, he’s also shooting a ton (61 field-goal attempts, 27 three-point attempts).
29.7 points. 7.0 assists. 11 threes.

Say what you want about Jennings, but he looks super smooth and probably should be with an NBA team. After all, he was playing major minutes in the playoffs last year with the Wizards as John Wall’s back-up.
Hopefully, the Bucks call him up at some point to join their Big-Three and bring this whole thing full circle. If nothing else, the brand-new Wisconsin Herd will put some butts in the seats and make a few dollars off of him.
