George Mason A-10 Tournament Seeding Probabilities (via Bob Arciero)
A look at George Mason’s potential seeding in the A-10 Tournament, based on the latest probabilities from analytics guru Bob Arciero.
Fans of Atlantic 10 basketball won’t have to wait much longer for the conference tournament in Brooklyn. We’re now just 10 days and two regular season games (per program) away from the event, yet there’s still a lot that needs to shake out between now and March 14th.
For George Mason, they’ve lost three of their last four and face slim odds to get the coveted double-bye in the conference tournament. In fact, they’re more likely to have ZERO byes than the double, according to Arciero’s report. That said, the most likely situation for Mason is a single bye as the No. 6 seed. Check out the numbers Arciero has for GMU below…
George Mason: A-10 Tournament Seeding Probabilities
- #3 seed: 5.40% (double-bye)
- #4 seed: 11.19% (double-bye)
- #5 seed: 21.47% (single-bye)
- #6 seed: 37.53% (single-bye)
- #7 seed: 24.31% (no bye)
Mason will play VCU at home tomorrow (Tuesday, Mar. 5th) at 7:30 P.M ET, followed by their season finale on Saturday, Mar. 9th at 3:00 P.M ET against rival George Washington.
Tomorrow’s game is Senior Night, meaning it’s the final home game for Otis Livingston II.
