George Mason Basketball: Jaire Grayer Nominated For CLASS Award
George Mason basketball star Jaire Grayer has been selected as a candidate for the prestigious Senior CLASS Award.
Senior Jaire Grayer, who is currently averaging 10 points per game for the George Mason Patriots basketball team, was named a candidate for the Senior CLASS Award. According to George Mason’s press release, honorees “must be classified as an NCAA Division I senior and have notable achievements in four areas of excellence: community, classroom, character and competition.”

The accolade honors the total student-athlete and those athletes who use their platform to make a positive impact as leaders in their communities.

“Grayer, a 2018 NABC Give Back Team selection, is a candidate because of his community work in his hometown of Flint, Michigan, and in Fairfax, his internship work through his sports management major and his future goals to work in coaching and mentor children through basketball.”
Grayer is currently the only George Mason player with double-digit three-point field goals this season and is shooting over 40 percent from downtown.
