George Mason, George Washington to Meet in A-10 Tournament
The George Mason Patriots and George Washington Colonials will meet for the third time this year, the latest coming as part of the Atlantic 10 Tournament on Thursday, March 14th. George Washington, the No. 12 seed out of 14 teams, won their opening round game against UMass in overtime on Wednesday, setting the stage for another chapter in the GMU-GW rivalry.

Mason, the No. 5 seed in the tournament, swept George Washington this year in conference play. It was the first time they accomplished the feat since joining the A-10, and their win on the road at the Charles E. Smith Center in both team’s season finale was their first ever victory at the venue (in 15 games).
The game will be broadcast nationally on NBC Sports Network at 2:30 P.M ET.
