Get Pumped For These 5 Upcoming Fox Sports MLB Documentaries
A few years ago, there were quality 30 for 30‘s coming every month from ESPN. These days, that’s not really the case. Several of their recent projects have been meh, arriving without the major fanfare and headlines like titles from the past did. So, with ESPN losing power in the sports documentary space, Fox Sports has stepped up to make a splash.
Fox Sports has five MLB documentaries on the way, including The Pence Method, a doc focused on Hunter Pence’s comeback which airs on FS1 on Saturday, July 20th. The Pence Method, it should be noted, was produced by Uninterrupted, LeBron James’ production company.

As a baseball junkie, this is great news. And really, they’re not only taking a page out of ESPN’s book, but they’re also doing what MLB Network does with their MLB Network Presents film series. I’m not mad at it; the more sports docs, the better, so bring ’em on. Plus, Fox has MLB rights so you know the league was on board with these films.
