Jason Whitlock Looking to Hang His Own Shingle After FS1 Exit
Jason Whitlock was a big part of FS1’s reboot a few years ago, one that included other former ESPNers Colin Cowherd and Skip Bayless. Originally teamed with Cowherd on Speak For Yourself, Whitlock would eventually co-host with Marcellus Wiley from mid-2018 until this past Friday — his last day at the company.
His contract expired over the weekend, and according to Outkick the Coverage, they couldn’t come to an agreement moving forward.
The show will move forward without him, per Andrew Marchand, and Whitlock will do the same via his own brand.
Whitlock, 53, is believed to be looking into starting his own direct-to-consumer business, according to sources.

Prior to Fox Sports 1, Whitlock had multiple stints at ESPN and a memorable run as a columnist for the Kansas City Star.
