John Mayer Covered “Small Worlds” at Mac Miller’s Benefit Concert
John Mayer covered Mac Miller’s “Small Worlds” at the Mac Miller Celebration of Life benefit concert in Los Angeles.
A ton of celebrities and artists gathered in Los Angeles to pay tribute to Mac Miller at the Mac Miller Celebration of Life benefit show. From Thundercat to Vince Staples to Miguel and many more, the show was a massive success. And besides the celebs and artists in attendance, others — like Jason Sudeikis and Lil Wayne — sent in video tributes for Mac.
Perhaps the best part of the event was when John Mayer took the stage. Mayer, who supplied the strings to “Small Worlds” on Mac Miller’s Swimming album, did his own rendition of the song at the concert. See a clip of it below, via @sleepingongems.

The concert was streamed live on Mac’s YouTube channel (among other places) and should be available for viewing when it’s over.
Proceeds from the show are going to the Mac Miller Circles Fund. You can donate here if you’d like.
RIP Mac Miller. We all love and miss you.
