Just Because: Chris Berman Drops F-Bombs, Talks Codeine (Video)
Chris Berman is back in our lives this football season doing what he does best — NFL Primetime. ESPN brought him back for the weekly show with longtime partner Tom Jackson, which can be seen on ESPN+ here on Sunday nights. The pair did the show together for nearly two decades every Sunday night before the company switched gears in the mid-2000s. The new version of the show is a full hour and the highlights are longer than what we’ve seen from NFL shows in recent years. Best of all, he’s back with the clever nicknames (ie: Carlos “You Can Run But You Cannot” Hyde).
🚨 Chris Berman has exciting news for @ESPNNFL fans…he and @TomJackson57 will be reuniting on ESPN+ 🏈

So I’ve been watching Berman this year on ESPN+ and it feels right. I’m sure a lot of people are in the same boat. That said, having him back on my screen reminded me of some other times he came through with entertaining content. Of course, the content I’m referring to is the kind he probably wishes never came out. I’m talking about the infamous hot mic videos…the ones that caught Berman dropping F-bombs left and right (11 in a 53-second video) and teaching co-workers how to smuggle codeine in from Canada. If you haven’t seen them, you’re in for a treat. If you have, here’s a refresher.
