Justin Timberlake Gives New Travis Scott, Virgil Abloh Sneakers The Ric Flair Treatment

A lot of people will never get two pairs of expensive sneakers in one shot. But when you’re Justin Timberlake, it’s just another day in the life. On Friday night, JT posted an Instagram video of himself unveiling two pairs of new kicks — Virgil Abloh Nikes, and Travis Scott Jordans. Of course, when you’re a performer, you can’t just flip the box open with your buddy recording. Instead, Timberlake hit his fans with a vocalized version of the Ric Flair theme song. It was as dope as the kicks!

Ric Flair’s theme song, which was first made popular by Stanley Kubrick’s 2001: A Space Odyssey, is now an American classic and the perfect ditty to unveil something with. Who knows which he was referencing, but my money is on “The Nature Boy”. After all, the two entertainers have something in common: they’re both kiss-stealin’, wheelin’-dealin’, limousine-ridin’, jet-flyin’, son of a guns. Had to do it — WOO! — sorry.
