Kawhi Leonard & Paul George Had Dueling 40-point Games on Friday
Paul George had his first 40-point game as a member of the Los Angeles Clippers on Friday night in a 124-117 win over Minnesota. Oddly enough, it was on the same night Kawhi Leonard had his first 40-point game as a member of the Los Angeles Clippers. Combined, they went off for 88 points, with George scoring a game-high 46 and Leonard scoring 42 — both season highs.
Leonard had 31 points by halftime while Paul George did his damage more evenly, scoring 23 points in each half. Kawhi was perfect from both beyond the arc (3-3) and the free-throw line (19-19), while George had a team-high 7 assists.
