Lil Skies Performs Mac Miller’s “Donald Trump” at Rolling Loud

Rapper Lil Skies performed Mac Miller’s “Donald Trump” at Rolling Loud in Oakland.

The Bay Area got a nice surprise on Tuesday when Lil Skies came out for his set at the Rolling Loud Festival. Instead of one of his own songs, Skies performed a hit from the late Mac Miller. In front of a gigantic crowd, he rapped along to Miller’s “Donald Trump” and the fans absolutely loved it.

“Donald Trump” was off Mac Miller’s Best Day Ever mixtape from 2011.

Skies, a 20-year-old rapper, is known for “Nowadays” and “Red Roses” — both off of his Life of a Dark Rose mixtape.

Fittingly, Skies is also from Pennsylvania.

In addition to his tribute from Lil Skies, Mac Miller also had three songs appear on the Billboard Hot 100 on Tuesday. All three songs were off his latest album, Swimming, with “Self Care” ranking the highest at No. 33. It was the highest spot he’s ever secured as a lead artist, per Billboard.
