Packers Darrius Shepherd Had All Sorts of Problems on MNF
Aaron Rodgers can’t be happy with Darrius Shepherd, his rookie wide receiver. Shepherd, who is getting his first real look in the Packers offense tonight vs. Detroit, missed a pass from Rodgers near the goalline that resulted in an interception (and eventually a field goal) for the Lions.
Have a look: Shepherd lets the ball hit him right in the face, allowing Lions defensive back Justin Coleman to make a big-time play.

That’s not all. Shepherd also fumbled a punt that resulted in a field goal by the Lions.

Green Bay, luckily, was able to win on a last-second field goal from Mason Crosby.
Shepherd, a rookie from North Dakota State, did make his first NFL reception tonight, though it only went for one yard. If he gets cut after the game, at least he has that.
