George Mason’s Logan Driscoll, Brady Acker Make A-10 All-Conference Team
FAIRFAX, Va — George Mason’s baseball season didn’t go as planned, finishing No. 12 in the 13-team Atlantic 10 with a 5-19 conference record. They also missed out on the conference tournament but on Tuesday, some redemption came for fans as two players were selected to the Atlantic 10 All-Conference team.
Catcher Logan Driscoll, who should hear his name called in the upcoming MLB Draft, made First-Team All-Atlantic 10 for the second year in a row.
A semifinalist for the 2019 Buster Posey National Collegiate Catcher of the Year Award, Driscoll led Mason in average (.343), hits (58), triples (2), home runs (9), RBI (33), slugging percentage (.598) and on-base percentage (.462). He tied for second on the club in doubles (12) and was third in walks (31).
