LOOK: 2019 Virginia Cavaliers Football Schedule

Fresh off a successful 2018 season which included their first national ranking since 2011, a win over No. 16 Miami and a shutout victory in the Belk Bowl over South Carolina, the Virginia Cavaliers have officially released their 2019 schedule.

While the entire list is exciting to look at, especially since star quarterback Bryce Perkins will be leading the team again in 2019, the one game that absolutely sticks out is their September 28th game at Notre Dame.

  • Sept. 6, vs. WILLIAM & MARY (Fri.)
  • Sept. 14, vs. FLORIDA STATE
  • Sept. 21, vs. OLD DOMINION
  • Sept. 28, @ Notre Dame
  • Oct. 11, @ Miami (Fri.)
  • Oct. 19, vs. DUKE
  • Oct. 26, @ Louisville
  • Nov. 2, @ North Carolina
  • Nov. 9, vs. GEORGIA TECH
  • Nov. 23, vs. LIBERTY
  • Nov. 29, vs. VIRGINIA TECH (Fri.)

Like they did in 2018, the Hoos will play several games on Friday evenings next year. Additionally, their ACC schedule is much like last year, complete with matchups against all six other ACC Coastal teams and Louisville. The one key difference, however, is that they’ll play Florida State in 2019. Last season, the only other ACC team they played outside of their division and Louisville was a road game against NC State.
