LOOK: Max Scherzer Shows Off Montreal Expos Throwback
This Saturday, the Washington Nationals will rock vintage Montreal Expos throwback uniforms from 1969. They’ll do so against the Kansas City Royals, who, fittingly, joined Major League Baseball the same year the Expos did (in 1969).
Max Scherzer is slated to start Saturday and because he likes to wear his entire uniform for his bullpen sessions, he wore the duds he’ll be wearing for his next start during his pregame bullpen on Wednesday before the Nats game. Check them out!

On a side note, Mad Max is on a tear right now. He finished the month of June with a perfect 6-0 record, a 1.00 ERA, and 68 strikeouts. Because of his performance, he was just named NL Player of the Week.
