LOOK: Space Jam 2 Has Betting Odds For Which Players Will Get Roles

The LeBron James-led sequel to Space Jam is set for a 2021 release, yet it remains unclear which basketball players will appear alongside of him. Remember, in the first Space Jam, Charles Barkley, Muggsy Bogues, Larry Johnson, Patrick Ewing, and Shawn Bradley had their talent stolen by the Monstars.

Bovada has odds up for the potential co-stars in Space Jam 2, including Giannis Antetokounmpo, who made headlines recently for saying he won’t be a part of the film. Chris Paul, Dwyane Wade, and Carmelo Anthony all have favorable odds for a role, likely based on their friendship with LeBron. In 2016, they all appeared together on stage at the ESPY’s to discuss social issues. Additionally, Anthony Davis, part of LeBron’s Klutch Sports Group, has the second-best odds for a role, per Bovada.

Who Will Have a Credited Role in Space Jam 2?

One player who isn’t listed is Chris Bosh, who, though retired, seems like a solid candidate to appear. Like Carmelo, Bosh has an impressive NBA resume and a familiar face that fans would recognize and appreciate. Another wild card is Rajon Rondo; this year, LeBron and Rondo have been photographed together off-court several times.

Maybe Dirk, too? A longshot but still possible…
