Looking Into the 2019 Washington Redskins Schedule
The schedules for the upcoming NFL season are officially set and the Washington Redskins were blessed with an interesting one. There are plenty of intriguing games but what sticks out most has to be their NFC East battles. Rather than spreading them out across 17 weeks, their six rivalry games are bookends to the season; they open up with three of their first four games against NFC East teams, then finish their season with three consecutive NFC East contests.
Also, it should be noted that the ‘Skins will travel to Minneapolis to face their former quarterback, Kirk Cousins, in Week 8. The Redskins-Cousins matchup is of national interest so it’s been booked as a Thursday Night Football game on national television.
