Maryland’s Bruno Fernando, Anthony Cowan Jr. Make All-Big Ten Team

On Monday, the Big Ten postseason men’s basketball awards were released, as well as the All-Big Ten selections. The Big Ten has two separate releases each year, one voted on by the coaches and one voted on by the media. Our local Big Ten program, Maryland, was represented well across both, highlighted by sophomore Bruno Fernando‘s First Team All-Big Ten selection (Coaches & Media) and junior Anthony Cowan Jr.’s Second Team All-Big Ten selection (Coaches & Media).

Additionally, Maryland freshman Jalen Smith made the All-Freshman Team and Fernando made the All-Defensive Team. Both categories, as well as Sixth Man of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year, are only voted on by coaches.

Below, you can see the entire list, per the Big Ten’s official website.
