Meet All the New Miami Marlins Players (16 to be Exact)
The Miami Marlins had Major League Baseball’s first major coronavirus outbreak. Now that they’re getting negative tests consistently from their remaining players, it’s back to baseball. The Marlins will play at Baltimore tonight in a single game at 7:35 p.m. ET, followed by a 7-inning doubleheader tomorrow and another single game on Thursday at 7:35 p.m.
Miami will serve as the home team for Games 3 & 4 even though they’re playing at Camden Yards in Baltimore.
With so many players on the IL for coronavirus related issues, as well as Isan Diaz opting out of the season, the Marlins had to scramble to get their team together. They have 16 players joining their healthy roster for the upcoming series, which you can see below. Notable MLB veterans include outfielders Lewis Brinson and Matt Joyce, infielder Logan Forsythe and catcher Ryan Lavarnway, plus top prospects Monte Harrison and Jordan Yamamoto.
