Mike Cameron’s Son, Daz Cameron, Makes MLB Debut on YouTube
The second MLB YouTube game from 2020 — Milwaukee at Detroit — was interesting, to say the least. We saw a whole gang of runs (from one side, at leat), an absolutely stellar pitching performance from Brewers SP Corbin Burnes, a position player pitching (Travis Demeritte) and the debut of Daz Cameron, the son of former MLB All-Star and Gold Glove winner Mike Cameron.
Welcome to the Show!

Cameron, who’s been in the Tigers organization since 2017 and one of their top prospects, started in right field for Detroit and hit seventh. He went hitless in his first three MLB at-bats. To be fair, Burnes dominated everyone in the Tigers lineup on Wednesday afternoon.
He struck and grounded out off Burnes, then grounded into a fielder’s choice off Eric Yardley.
One interesting thing the announcers mentioned was that Ryan Braun used to share the outfield with Mike Cameron between 2008-09. It must have been some kind of reality check for Braun, realizing you’re playing against your former teammates’ son.
Daz Cameron wore No. 41 for the Tigers in his debut.
