MLB Draft: George Mason C Logan Driscoll Goes 73rd to Padres
In a little bit of a surprise move, the San Diego Padres took George Mason catcher Logan Driscoll with the 73rd overall pick in the 2019 MLB Draft. Driscoll wasn’t featured in True Blue LA’s Top 200 or FanGraph’s mock draft but the buzz around him grew as the draft neared.

When I saw him play on May 7th against James Madison, there were a ton of scouts there to see Driscoll and one assured me he’d be taken very high in the draft. As it turns out, he was right.
