MLK Day Sports TV Schedule
Oftentimes, sports and holidays go hand in hand. On Thanksgiving, you get NFL games. On July 4th, you get a slew of Major League Baseball games. New Year’s Day brings on major college football bowl games and on it goes.
One of the main sports holidays is right around the corner — Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
The NBA plays a big part in MLK Day, including the annual Martin Luther King Jr. Day celebration game that the Memphis Grizzlies host (now in its 18th year). Martin Luther King Jr., of course, was tragically killed in Memphis in 1968, and the city takes recognizing his legacy seriously. In total, there will be 14 NBA games on Monday — four on national television — as well as college basketball games throughout the day.
Below, you can find a list of all the important sports events for MLK Jr. Day, and where you can watch them on television.
