Monster TV Ratings For NBC’s Cowboys-Texans Sunday Night Game
The Dallas Cowboys vs. Houston Texans game on Sunday Night Football brought home a monster TV rating.
In what turned out to be a great game go watch, the Houston Texans outlasted the Dallas Cowboys in overtime for a 16-13 win on Sunday Night Football. I watched, you watched, and about 22 million other folks. On Monday, NBC Sports PR released the massive number via Twitter.

Per the tweet, the overtime spectacle was up 17 percent from last year’s Week 5 SNF game, and the highest Week 5 overnight rating since 2015. Additionally, the game was “easily Sunday’s top primetime show.”
The Texas matchup owned the state, too, with the top four markets all coming from inside the state.

Dallas and Houston both have home games slated for Week 6. The Cowboys host the Jaguars while the Texans host the Bills.
