NBA MLK Day Schedule: National TV & Beyond
Often times, sports and holidays go hand in hand with one another; Thanksgiving has the NFL, July 4th has Major League Baseball, New Year’s Day has college football and so on. The NBA owns two holidays: Christmas and Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
Sadly, Christmas has come and gone already.
MLK Day, however, is right around the corner. There are several games on the schedule, highlighted by several nationally televised games and the annual Martin Luther King Jr. Day Celebration Game that the Memphis Grizzlies host. One of the TV games — Warriors vs. Lakers — won’t quite be the matchup folks had hoped for since LeBron James is still sidelined but having DeMarcus Cousins back makes things a little better. Nevertheless, it’s a sick lineup that spans the entire day. Check it out below!
