Mile High City: New Denver Nuggets Jersey Looks Perfect For Soccer
Dedicating uniforms to your city’s nickname is a good idea. The Cavaliers definitely pulled it off with their grey ‘The Land’ jerseys, and the same can go for the Detroit Pistons’ ‘Motor City’ duds. On the flip side, they can also go wrong. The latest team to debut a jersey dedicated to a place’s nickname is the Denver Nuggets with their ‘Mile High City’ release.

Let me say this before I start: I’m happy they are back to the retro colors. Personally, those blue, red, and yellow jammies from Alex English’s glory days are the best they’ve ever had. Also, they actually did the ad the right way by making it transparent. It really grinds my gears to see the Warriors uniforms that have a square patch sewn on. The Cavs’ also do it the right way — no square patch, just the logo.
Anyhow, the rest of the jersey is sort of ehhhhh. I’d give them like, a C-minus if I were to grade them. To me, they look like soccer jerseys.
Check these Everton FC jerseys and tell me they don’t remind you of them.
With that said…it’s a start. These new Nuggets’ jerseys aren’t great but they’re on to something. Stick with the colors, keep doing the ad the right way, but switch up the design. What do you guys think of the new Denver Nuggets jersey?
