NCAA Championship: Villanova Currently Big Favorite Over Michigan
Per Bovada, the Villanova Wildcats (34-5) are a seven-point favorite over the Michigan Wolverines (33-7) in the NCAA Championship game. In addition to the betting line, the point total (or over/under) is currently at 145.
If you’re not looking to lay the points with the Wildcats, they’re -300 on the moneyline — so in order to win $100, you’d need to lay $300. The Wolverines give you better value at +250 — $100 wins $250.
You can also expect a whole bunch of props to come out as the game gets closer.
When the line was first released, the Wildcats were 5.5-point favorites. However, early money on the chalk moved the line to where it is now.
The last time these two teams played was on November 25th, 2014. In that game, Nova covered the 4.5-point spread in a 60-55 win at the Barclay’s Center.
