New Big Sean Track “Overtime” is Here…and It’s FIRE
Yesterday, shortly before midnight (ET), Big Sean dropped a snippet of his new track, “Overtime,” on Twitter. For a 30-second clip, I don’t know if there’s anything more he could have done to get folks excited for the official release, which comes today at 12 P.M ET.
Sean addressed his breakup with Jhené Aiko — “I didn’t take a break my n*gga, I broke/Broke my heart, broke my soul/Don’t cry for me though” — as well as his semi-hiatus from rap music — “I might set my mic back up in the closet, though/Just to give myself that same feeling from ’04/When my hunger was more.”
