Make Sure to Follow New True Crime Podcast “Who Killed Tommy?”
The Forum of Fargo-Moorhead, a popular newspaper, has launched a thrilling true crime podcast titled “Who Killed Tommy?” Kim Hyatt, a reporter for The Forum, serves as the show’s host.
Over the last few years, I’ve tried out tons of true crime podcasts. Unfortunately, only about 30 to 40 percent of them are worthwhile. Most of the good ones, in my opinion, are when a newspaper or radio group puts them together (ie: Accused: Season 1). I believe this is because they have more resources and experience with reporting.
The latest podcast series I’ve come across, Who Killed Tommy?, is a prime example of my theory. It is being done by The Forum of Fargo-Moorhead, a popular North Dakota newspaper, and it’s thrilling so far through one episode. Yes, they’ve only released one episode but it has me 100-percent hooked and I’ll certainly be back for more.

Who Killed Tommy? follows the unsolved homicide case of 18-year-old Tommy Bearson, who went missing in September of 2014. A few days after his disappearance, his body was found and authorities ruled it was due to “homicidal violence.” Per the West Fargo Pioneer, no motive or suspect has been named since.
And while we like to cover true crime on this site, this series may also be interesting to our readers because Bearson was a star athlete who eclipsed the 1,000-point mark in his high school basketball career.
