NFL Week 6 Game Balls Go To….
#1: Jamal Adams
Adams, one of the best strong safeties in the NFL, provided the pressure on Dak Prescott that sealed the Jets’ upset win over the Cowboys on Sunday. After scoring a touchdown to cut the Jets lead to 24-22, he came untouched on the Cowboys’ two-point try, getting to Prescott right away and making sure there was no shot at knotting the game 24-24. He also was tied for team-highs in tackles, passes defended, and tackles for loss.
#2: Terry McLaurin
The lone bright spot for the Redskins offense this season, McLaurin hauled in four catches for 100 yards and two touchdowns on Sunday to propel Washington to their first win of the season. He now has five touchdowns in his first five games.
#3: 49ers Defense
Last year, people were talking about how revolutionary Sean McVay and the Rams offense were, and they justified the narrative by going to the Super Bowl. Playing on the road, the 49ers defense held that same offense to just seven points and 157 total yards. The Rams only had the ball for 21 minutes all game.
