Odell Beckham Jr. Secures Fifth 1,000 Yard Season in Week 17

The Cleveland Browns were a disappointment this season, winning just six games and missing the postseason. Their season was finally put of its misery on Sunday with a 33-23 loss to rival Cincinnati, a team with just two wins on the season. On the bright side, Odell Beckham Jr. made another fantastic, seemingly impossible catch, which you can see below, and put up enough yards to give him the fifth 1,000-yard receiving season of his career.

Beckham Jr. caught three balls for 81 yards and a touchdown in Week 17, giving him 1,035 receiving yards on the season. The first-year Brown also finished with 73 catches and four touchdowns.

His four previous 1,000-yard seasons came as a member of the New York Giants.

Beckham’s partner in crime, Jarvis Landry, already had 1,000-plus receiving yards going into Week 17. After catching two balls for 82 yards against Cincinnati, he finished the season with a team-high 83 receptions and 1,174 receiving yards.

Baker Mayfield threw three touchdowns and three picks in his final game of the year, giving him 22 touchdowns and 21 interceptions on the season. Compared to last year when he put up 27 touchdowns to just 14 interceptions, it’s clear he took a big step back this year, especially with a new weapon like Odell in the mix.
