Oopsie Dropsie: Cowboys Lose Three Fumbles in First Quarter
The Dallas Cowboys were favorites coming into Sunday’s game against Atlanta but the actual game has told a different story. The ‘Boys have been dropping the ball all over the place and it’s been UGLY. After a punt on their first possession, they had four straight drives with a turnover — three lost fumbles and one turnover on downs. All happened in the first quarter!

TE Dalton Schultz with Dallas' fifth fumble of the first quarter. Falcons recover. What is this, Groundhog Day. Dallas is woefully unprepared for this game and that falls on the head coach Mike McCarthy.

The turnover on downs was also somewhat of a circus; Dallas attempted a fake punt but their punter underthrew a wide-open gunner. It went right along with their oopsie-dropsie first quarter.
In total, Dallas fumbled four times in the first quarter. They had another one but it was negated by a penalty. It’s been as ugly as it sounds.
Atlanta led 20-0 after the first quarter.
