Pittsburgh Basketball Hits Blue Slide Park For Mac Miller Tribute Video
The Pittsburgh basketball program paid tribute to Mac Miller with a hype video at Blue Slide Park.
It’s been almost a month since Mac Miller’s passing and it’s still on my mind every day. Many others, obviously, feel the same way. Among them is the Pittsburgh basketball program, who on October 5th dropped a hype video for their upcoming season that paid tribute to Mac.

In the video, the team, their mascot, and fans all head to Blue Slide Park to rock out to one of Mac’s best jams — “Party on Fifth Ave.”
The video is awesome, complete with members of the Pittsburgh Panthers team mouthing Mac’s lyrics and a player sliding down the infamous blue slid. Additionally, you can see the memorials still standing at the park in the first 20 seconds.
Besides being from Pittsburgh, Mac Miller also wore a Panthers’ jersey on the cover of one of his first-ever mixtapes — But My Mackin’ Ain’t Easy. You can see this below:

Pittsburgh, a member of the ACC, will open their season on November 6th against Youngstown State.
In a sort of related note, the NHL’s Philadelphia Flyers brought back “Knock, Knock” as the song they play after a win this season.
RIP Mac.
